Fun with AdSense

Some of you may have noticed the little Google-placed ads over on the right side of the screen. Google decides what ads "fit" based on the content of the page, and if people actually click on the ads a tiny bit of ad revenue can be generated (if any money is actually generated here, BTW, it will either go into the season pool or towards cash bounties - this is non-profit).

Anyway, so far all of the ads have been poker-related as expected, and some of them even look like decent websites. Today, however, they started running an ad about dealing with psoriasis. Hmmm. Maybe they know a little TOO much about us.

Of course, now I've mentioned psoriasis so their methodology has just been confirmed. Rats. Oh well, let's try a new one: herpes. Herpes, herpes, herpes. Let's see what you got, Google!

Hmmm, today ALL of the ads are completely non-poker related. This thing has a brain of its own...

if you choose to "burn" your atom.xml feed via feedburner you can have ads at the end of each post, too.
