Week 5 Results

Week 5 seemed to feature a lot of grumbling from the rail about sucking out, but it is hard to see how that was different from any other week. This is, after all, the MD DonkFest Poker League.

Anyway, potnets benefited from one of the suckouts without even being in the hand and managed a third place when two all-ins fell to A9 with a 9 on the board. Maddoggy44 took out potnets for the bounty, then outlasted a persistent but out-chipped DadsWD for the win.

We had a good turnout last night for Week 4 of Season 3. Goateedude took out rico11597 for the bounty. Rusdog13 showed up late, but stayed late too, finishing third. Maddoggy44 took second, and potnets recovered from an early last-place position for the win.

Week 3 just completed, and Rico11597 took down the win. StacyB98 came in second, and goateedude snared third. There was no bounty as jack10offsut did not play.

With a 6th place finish in the tournament, Shelties was able to remain in first place after week 3, and gets a Sunday Million ticket. PokerStars has been notified. Congratulations!

Week 2 Results

Another great turnout, with a few new league members joining the fun. Welcome! There was a lot of action in the tournament - quads came up at least three times. Potnets lost a big chip lead late in the tourney to one of those quads, and settled for third. Occhawk took out Shelties for the bounty, and went on to take second place. First place went to jack10offsut. Congrats to all!

As a reminder, it is not too late to join the league (or to recruit others to join the league). The low score for the season is dropped, so missing a week is not a problem. To join, ship the $15 league fee (for the league prize pool) on PokerStars to potnets (Severna Park).
